Active Play is a child-led, fun and physically engaging approach to play that helps children build their fundamental movement skills, confidence and enjoyment of being active. Designed to be fun, inclusive and active, Active Play is a straightforward and inexpensive programme to implement. The National Lottery Communities Fund is supporting our APEX project, facilitating reciprocal visits between children and playworkers from some of London’s fabulous adventure playgrounds.
