And today we will talk about the lord of the rings. But not about himself, the creation of Tolkien, but about the continuation of the created by Nikolai (nickname) Perumov (Russian writer).If I say that few people know about the continuation of the lord of rings, I will not be mistaken. But this book conquered me. I read all 3 parts and now, with impatience, I’m waiting for the continuation that Nick promised.
The plot of the book is tied to the journey of the Hobbit Folko, who is a descendant of Pina Brandibek. He travels with two gnomes toorine and baby.
But since all this happens 300 years after the events of the Lord of the Rings, we will not meet so many old acquaintances, they are only mentioned. And fate will bring us with Handelf, Saruman and Radagast. But this is for the better. The author was right to do this, even though he was the heir to Tolkien, who read all his books, but still he has his own style of writing. I liked Nick Perumov especially because the hobbit in it is not as defenseless as in the book of the Lord of the Rings. But on the contrary, the years of adventure made him a wonderful archer and warrior.

Well, I said a lot before, but I never said about the plot. And he was twisted around the fact that after the death of Sauron, Nazgul died, but their rings remained in the place of death of the hosts. And then one day the villain Olmer appeared.
Although it is hard to call him a villain, he just wanted freedom. Duck Olmer found one ring, and realizing that they were giving him strength (of course, the enslaving his mind) decided to find them all and unite them and unite. Well, our heroes in their complete dangers, riddles, difficult decisions of the journey should prevent him from doing this. I will not spoil further.
That’s all I wanted to tell about the book, but you can give my assessment only by reading. Of course, many scold it, because Perumov is not interpreted, but the book is interesting, and besides, in my opinion, it is the only worthy continuation of the lord of the rings.
Why did I write all this? Yes, to the fact that many books are worthy, good games on them and the ring of darkness are one of these books. Of course there are games from Perumov’s books:

But I meant the game worthy of the original source. I would not refuse to play the game on the book Ring of Darkness, to be in the skin of heroes.
